Provenance and Acquisition

Purchase note by Ṿidal Mosheh Rafael ben Yosef, dated 3 Teveṭ 5301 (that is 1540): "יום ג לחדש טבת שנת ה אלפים וש"א...אני וידאל משה רפאל בן פורת בכמ"ר הרופא מאשט[רו] יוסף נ"ע קניתי זה הסידור מחתני יצ"ו ר’ שלמה בכ"ר יעקב [...] ברצלוני דר היום בויסיגיאה" (fol. 376v). Ṿidal bought the sidur from his father-in-law Shlomoh ben Yaʿaḳov. Censor's signature: Antonio Franceso Enquires 1687 (fol. 376v)
